I want to tell you how the private screening went in California on Dec 11th.

On the day of the premiere we did a "dry run" to the site to make sure that we knew where to park and where to go. Did a LITTLE shopping and site seeing and then made our way back to the hotel to dress for the premiere. Upon entering the site of the premiere we were all excited and nervous. It was hard for me to concentrate on the film knowing that after it was over he would soon arrive. Well - I did like the film and BG's part. Like I told everyone here at work and home - I could watch BG fish and I would say that he did a good job and looked great!!

Anyway, near the end of the film, 2 of the others left to use the restroom and I decided that I could wait. But, I got to thinking that when HE comes I don't want to miss out so as soon as the credits started rolling I decided to make a quick dash to the ladies room. As I opened the door I became disoriented - I looked straight ahead and there was this "glass room" but I couldn't find the door out at first. But just as I turned to the correct door - Bruce, apparently sitting on a bench next to the door, pops his head from behind the door and just looks at me and I am looking at him, saying, "OH MY GOD", "OH MY GOD". He stands up with his arm outreached and says, "Hi, I'm Bruce Greenwood" - As I was walking to him I say to myself -Duh - I know who you are!!! He is SOOO handsome!! His beautiful blue eyes. I was, and still am in awe of him. He was great!!! I, and everyone I tell this to, think he was VERY nice and thoughtful to arrange the screening after the original premiere had been moved to the following week. He could have just let it go and not done anything. Meeting him and his wife was a pleasure. As Pam mentioned earlier in her "report" I didn't say much. I couldn't. I just listened to him talk and watched him smile and laugh. I probably talked more to his wife than him. She was so nice. She is someone you would like to have as a friend. Just as they were about to leave I thanked her for sharing her husband and she just chuckled.

I had a lot of fun. Of course, the highlight was meeting BG, but I also got to meet 3 other fans - Pamela, Anne & Barb. I had never met them and I am so glad that I did. By the time I left - I felt like I had known them for years. Hopefully, we will be able to get together another time in the future.
